Born in Serbia in 1980. I am a contemporary Artist living and working in lovely City of Mannheim, Germany. After graduating from Academy of Arts Mannheim with a Diploma in 2014, I decided to continue my Work moving to my first/own Studio. My paintings are current and volatile, contemporary and sceptical; antithetic. They are elementary, just as life is – and mad. I dedicated my previous Work to my own past life. To an Life as a contemporary Witness. Just as everybody else! Accordingly, my art works mainly consist of a mixture of memories and coming to terms with my past on the one hand, but also a present perspective on the other hand. Somewhere between still lifes and abstract stuff there's the omnipresent shape of a human male – a portrait only in form – seems absurdly disproportioned and bored, captured between the fear of loss of his origins and the exhilarating appeal of urbanisation and technological progress – always searching for himself. We urgently need to paint about what's happening to us now!
