About The Artwork
This painting is in reference to El Salvador's civil war and the many ghosts of the disappeared. The aftermath of the war is still affecting the country (and its neighbors), as evidenced by the Border crisis today. I want to raise awareness by inspiring a sense of feeling about El Salvador. Those feelings may include tension, haunting, and even paralysis. There is still much work to be done.
