Deng Kai, an artist from Kunming, Yunnan, China. Born in the 1950s, he graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Yunnan Academy of Arts. He has been engaged in stage art design for a long time and was once a resident painter of Yunnan National Museum. Since the 1970s, he has participated in various types of painting exhibitions and exchange exhibitions of artists at home and abroad. And some works have been collected by people at home and abroad. In order to find artistic inspiration in nature, he has traveled through many countries and regions in the world. Mountains, rivers, lakes and seas are the source of his painting inspiration. After a long journey in Tibet, he published a collection of essays and paintings. His paintings involve rich themes and varied painting styles, which are related to his years of thinking and travel. He observes with his eyes and thinks with his mind, and believes that what he sees is not what he gets or what he sees becomes unreal. Each series of his works has its unique artistic form of existence, and different periods have different thoughts and expressions. This is the artist's footsteps recording the artistic exploration and pursuit in different periods. He seeks passion and beauty in different painting forms, which makes his painting style changeable, which is also an artist's unique temperament. His works involve oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor and heavy color painting. Look for and draw unique beauty with unique eyes.
