ABOUT THE ARTWORK
These tree reflections were painted as a series and developed from initial drawings of trees and their reflections in water. I took these back to the studio and reworked the images in oils on paper. Acrylic, charcoal and pencil are also a part of the process and are visible in the work. I began to see the tree as having an individual identity. Painting is on heavy weight paper and does not come with frame.
