ABOUT THE ARTWORK
These tree reflections were painted as a series and inspired from initial drawings of trees and their reflections in water. Taking these back to the studio I re worked the images in oils on paper. Acrylic, charcoal and pencil are also part of the process and are visible in the work. I began to see the individual tree as having its own identity. Painting is on paper and no hardware is included.
