Painter, Art Educator, Curator Paige Dasol Kim is originally from In-Cheon, South Korea. She is a MD-VA-DC based artist in the United States whose works explore memory, comfort, nature, dream, space, repetition, abstraction, the combination of both realistic and abstract features, and visions of symbols. Kim received her BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2013 and received her MFA in Curatorial Practice in May 2017. In 2011, She was granted and got transfer scholarship for the entire undergraduate school years. She had her first solo exhibition which is selected and promoted by the Raw Artist Showcase at the Creative Alliance in Baltimore; and has had a group exhibition at the Gibbs Street Gallery in VisArts at Rockville and numerous group exhibitions in MICA and throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. Kim is a 2013 recipient of the Travel Grant from Winifred M. Gordon '28 International Programs Awards. She is currently an adjunct faculty at AACC in Maryland, United States.
