I have been a stained glass artist and fine art painter, on a full-time basis, since 1976. Born in Detroit, Michigan, I have traveled extensively in the pursuit of my education as an artist in both glass and painting. If any painting 'movement' has attracted my attention during this time, above the others, it might be the Cubists and their groundbreaking experiments in reducing 'reality' to the simplest forms, rejecting the super-realistic painting style for one that re-imagines and figures the everyday images in ways that have never been seen before. It's all a beautiful experiment and journey into the unexpected.
