Koi fish are very popular and highly symbolic in Japanese art, with a number of positive meanings attached to their name - luck, prosperity, good fortune and perseverance in life. To this day, koi fish are admired for their grace and unusual colours. Their swim around and live their lives, oblivious to our human worries. The painting is signed, sealed, wet-mounted on backing rice paper and ready to be framed or mounted on a silk scroll. Please use acid-free adhesives when framing. It is manually cut, please leave a few mm error margin for dimensions. Colours may differ due to differences in devices.
