Eduard Panov is an Honorary Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, an Honored Artist of Russia, an Honored Cultural Worker, an honorary professor of Painting, a well-known Russian painter, and a Vice-president of the International Association of Artists and Teachers. Member of the International Art Foundation, member of the Union of Artists of Moscow since 1985, professor of the Department of Painting and head of diploma projects of graduates of the Department of Painting of Moscow State University. He was born in 1948 in Chelyabinsk in the Southern Urals in the family of the artist Porfiry Panov.
