ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This image from an underground passageway stayed in my head after a visit to Montreal during its long wintertime. The streets looked almost empty but underground the city was busy as ever.. Streetscapes are a recurring theme in my work. With this large painting I wanted to capture the rush hour movements of the city. Oil on Belgian linen stretched on a sturdy supported wooden frame and ready to hang. Certificate of Authenticity included.
