About the Artist: Alek Groß I paint under the pseudonym Alek Groß, exploring the silent intersections between architecture, music, and the subconscious. My work is a bridge between the physical world and the ethereal realm, where grand structures become symbols of human experience. More than 200 of my paintings are currently held in private collections and galleries across Ukraine, the USA, Germany, and beyond. The Symphony of Light & Silence Music is the vital pulse of my creative process. While working on a canvas, I immerse myself in compositions ranging from the Baroque era to modern rock, which serve as a catalyst for inspiration. Many of my works are "visual echoes" of specific musical pieces, sharing their names and emotional depth. I seek to capture the fleeting moment where a melody becomes a brushstroke. Mysticism in Stone Since relocating to Germany in April 2022, I have entered a transformative stage of my artistry. I am deeply inspired by the local landscapes and the dramatic architecture of the Weser river valley. Castles and manors hold a particular fascination for me—these grand structures are not merely stone; they are keepers of secrets. In my paintings, towers piercing the sky and foggy palace gates represent the threshold of the mystical. Professional Membership Since September 2025, I have been a proud member of the Association of Contemporary Art of the Minden-Lübeck District (Verein für aktuelle Kunst im Kreis Minden-Lübbecke e.V.). My goal is to invite the viewer into a world of "Light & Silence," where every shadow tells a story and every highlight reveals a path.
