"Universe #1" Painting

I'm an Architect. My artistic production is primarily contemporary and takes inspiration from external stimuli, such as real life events in the world that are then developed and understood through artistic mediums. My academic studies helped me to draw insights and inspiration from great figures in the field such as acrylic colors, paints and different types of support.  My developing knowledge combined with my passion enabled me to form a more conscious vision of the world, fuelling my interest for travelling and broadening my artistic horizons. I prefer to use readily available materials such as acrylic colours, paints and various types of media. Much of my work comes from interpretations of concepts developed in academia and universities, other productions reflect current affairs and others follow the client's intuitions and desires. I don't have a favourite technique however I can summarize my passion and will to experiment  with the words of Vincent Van Gogh: “I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it.”  I have recently embarked on a journey of artistic innovation that is about developing new forms of expression. The purpose of this journey is to define the concept of ‘Random’ and discover different ways of approaching in. In my opinion, the fascination with the paradoxical relationship between randomness and control is reflected in paintings that are aesthetically appealing and tell a unique and unrepeatable story.
