Verónica Domingo Alonso is a multidisciplinary artist born in Bilbao in 1989. She holds a Bachelor´s degree in Fine Arts (2012) at the University of the Basque Country. She also studied digital photography at IMVAL-Bilbao Center for Audiovisual Studies (2009-2011), a Master's Degree in Fine Arts (2013) at Norwich University of the Arts-UK and a Master´s Degree in Graphic, Illustration and artistic coinage (2014-2016) at Universidad de Castilla la Mancha (UCLM) / Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre (FNMT). Besides, she is currently a PhD student (UPV). She lives and works between Bilbao and Madrid where, in addition to develop her artistic practice, she works as freelancer in the field of cultural management, curatorship and getting focused on seminars, courses and printmaking teaching in museums, art centers and universities, such as Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (Madrid), Universidad del País Vasco (Bilbao), CEARCAL (Castilla y León), Fundación BilbaoArte Fundazioa (Bilbao), El Jardinico (Murcia), Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo (Marbella)... It is worth noting her previous curatorial job at GABINETE Art Fair, Works on Paper & Fine Arts (Madrid) in 2018 and 2019 editions, as well as simultaneously managing and organizational work at Madrid Paper Week. It is also notorious her former position as the coordinator of Gabinetes Abiertos (Madrid) and Open Portfolio Complutense (Madrid) in 2017, her internship in the Conservation and Documentation Department (2016-2017) at The Royal Mint Museum in Madrid. Furthermore, she played a role as arts-programmer at different galleries during the 2016 and 2017 editions of GABINETE Art Fair (Madrid). She has already had a long career, having carried out several solo and collective exhibitions in different parts across Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Colombia, Scotland, England, Poland, Turkey and Japan. Her work has been published in assorted catalogs and held in numerous public and private institutions. She has also been awarded both nationally and internationally. Statement ​ Verónica Domingo Alonso is an artist who redesigns aesthetics from an intimate and personal perspective, using a visual language developed from the drawing knowledge, as a research on the notions of place, space and territory.
