Anna Stakanova's creative path began with her graduation from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, where she honed her skills, experimented with different techniques and mediums, and developed her unique artistic style. Anna explored themes and subjects, including still lifes, portraits, and landscapes. Over time, the contrast between the greatness of nature and the insignificance of man became the central theme of creativity. Since Anna moved to the Netherlands, the symbols of the culture and traditions of this country are increasingly included in her work. She became inspired by the beauty of the Dutch landscape, with its windmills, canals, and flat expansions of land, and her paintings captured the essence of this unique environment.
