In Vanitas the image of sculptural busts representing historical figures is used. The choice of Ancient Greek Art, as a symbol of art and culture in the West, prioritises the search for the 'ideal beauty'. Nearly unrecognisable representations, almost without identity, confronting classic images with the concept found in the Book of Ecclesiastes: 'Vanitas vanitatum omina vanitas' ('Vanity of vanities, all is vanity') The message which the Book of Ecclesiastes intends to convey is the futility of the efforts and chattels of human beings, the extinction of everything which is human and the injustices of life in the face of the certainty of death. This series is a critique of financial speculation in art, of the reverence of ego in artistic production and the ability of the artist to respond to and reflect on the questions which connect with current society.

Statement "Against intellectual imposture" From the point of view of artistic discipline, my work claims the manual production of painting, in an attitude of freedom that attempts to shed all prejudices. With the realization that the object painted canvas painting, above all, it is an attitude and an intellectual power, you need the eye, the body and hands to communicate directly with the company, my work in many cases, is based in photographs taken of the media, Internet, movies, food serving as fragmented memories of world events. With the intention of "encapsulate" these images, to take them by way of pills that act against the disease of indifference. It is, above all, a way to blend in with what happened, to obtain a self-portrait as a dialogue with oneself, and through it, an interpretation of the meaning of existence from the point of view of being someone artist. At this point, the encapsulate a photographic image, a pictorial way to make turns, twists and turns between genres and techniques and that some form plays a love story with the history of painting, generates a tension, formulated as antithesis, between an artistic attitude cold and a warm, fruit of the opposition between the objective and the subjective, between the mechanical and the organic, or ultimately between analytic and expressive. This voltage represents the status as heir of a contradiction, that dwells in the heart of contemporary art.
