Valley Of Roses Painting

My inspiration for this painting was inspired from spending time with my elderly mother on weekends. She loved to work in my garden helping me plant a variety of flowers. Our favorites were roses. To my surprise she also liked oriental onions. To my mother, different flowers and colors was God's way of showing that despite our differences, we can blend together and create a beautiful world. I chose to use acrylic paint because of the multitude of vibrant colors and ease of blending them together.
