About The Artwork
Inspired by Diego Velazquez's "Triumph of Bacchus" which included working class poor characters, figures that surround the god Bacchus. I have used his figures for portrait studies in the past and this is my most recent. I like to portray the humanity in ordinary folks as those who know my work can attest. This is a work in progress and if I make any changes I will update the photo image. Until then, I am making it available "as is."

Exhibited widely in Italy: Rome, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Terni, etc. A professional educator, taught full-time at Lane Community College for over 25 years and worked as a manager for Lane County Regional Information System. Arts activist founding many alternative art shows and galleries in the Eugene, OR and surrounding areas.
