ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was 1 of 5 large paintings that were made for a large exhibition in Völklinger Hütte in Germany. It was exhibited together with 4 other large paintings in 2011 and has since been in our families private collection. The artist expresses the story eve and the apple from the bible Adventures of the skin. Judith Sturm is born 1973 in Saarlouis, southwest Germany. After the stations Saarbrücken and Berlin she lives and works in Manacor, Mallorca since 2017. Two trips to the US, 2006 and 2008 in the printing workshop of the well-known master printer Erika Greenberg-Schneider in Tampa, have left their mark on Judith Sturm's graphic work. In 2005 she developed her own painting style in oil painting: "informal realism"..

Judith Sturm

Judith Sturm was born in 1973 in Saarlouis, southwestern Germany on the border with France and Luxembourg. She lives and works in Berlin, Porto Cristo and Vienna. Two stays in the USA, in 2006 and 2008 in the printing workshop of the well-known master printer Erika Greenberg-Schneider in Tampa/Florida, have had a decisive influence on Judith Sturm's graphic work. In 2005, the master student of Prof. Baumgarten developed her own style of painting: "informal realism".
