The intention of this painting would be to paint a city in constant transformation through buildings and voids seen in different times, perspectives and moments. The image as a reduplication of the world is one of the main conflicts in art history, between the need for illusion and the need for expression, a relationship of time and space. The representation of space, then, is also the representation of instants. However, it cannot be assumed that there can be a fraction of time without movement, because then the very notion of movement becomes inexplicable. This painting is the memories and perceptions of a walk in downtown São Paulo, almost a dreamlike representation of a city falling apart in time.
