Vincent Vega ($5 Milkshake) The Artist has painted some of the characters from Pulp Fiction and has wanted to paint Vincent Vega for some time. After he finished his most recent Mia painting "Mia" (jack Rabbit Slims #2) he thought that a painting of Vincent in Jack Rabbit Slims would make a nice companion piece. The artist enjoyed the scenes that Tarantino filmed in the iconic Jack Rabbit Slims with all the bright muddled colors and shapes in the background. Not to mention the 1950's retro vibes of the restaurant. The Artist captured this iconic POP culture image from the movie on canvas using rich and bold oil paint. In his painted movie stills such as this one, he enjoys taking the image back to what would be a refined story board.
