Reinaldo Amaral is a Brazilian artist born in Rio de Janeiro. His artistic trajectory began in the 1970s, when he held his first exhibition. He has since established himself as a prominent figure on the art scene, with his works being exhibited internationally. Reinaldo currently resides and works in Central Brazil, where he explores the region's rich cultural and natural heritage. His art reflects a deep connection to the environment around him, incorporating elements of the landscape, history and local people. These works showcase his ability to capture the essence of the natural world through his artistic vision. In 2020, Reinaldo combined his artistic talent with innovative printing techniques, resulting in the creation of visually stunning prints that demonstrated his versatility and technical skill. In 2022, Reinaldo presented a series of works in the exhibition entitled "CERRADO STUDY" at The Spiers gallery, in High Barnet, London. This exhibition allowed viewers to explore the unique beauty of the Cerrado, a collection inspired by the region's intricate ecosystem and diverse flora and fauna. In addition, Reinaldo participated in FESDIVINO 2020, an event that celebrates the tradition, religiosity and culture of the Cerrado people.
