About The Artwork
'Void' was completed in 2020 using a non-traditional method of painting using oil, acrylic and pigment powders, marker pen and resin. The process involves applying paint which is mixed to specific consistencies and applied in several layers between drying to create this effect. This process takes many months to complete. The artwork is finished by hand with markers and protected with an epoxy resin topcoat. A resin finish creates professional modern finish while giving a glossy, glass-like look and protecting the artwork from UV rays. Resin finish is 'domed'.
