About The Artwork

Waterworks Park The works represent a landscape of the Archaeological Park of the Aqueducts in Rome, where there are the ruins of some of the most important aqueducts of ancient Rome as the Claudio and Marcio. After the war these rural areas characterized by their nature pristine which merged at times with the ruins of the Temples, Aqueducts and consular roads, were the subject of a real havoc in the name of speculation, where the powerful manufacturers were buying hectares and hectares of agricultural land and then be able to build popular palaces. All this happened with the consent of the authorities trying not to waste even the least bit of land. So temples were destroyed, the villas have been buried and the aqueducts were slashed. In a few years where before there were grazing flocks, ancient sources and streams that licked lush forests have sprung countless buildings from many different styles and from different heights that have created squares and streets seamlessly where hardship and poverty were and still are the daily plight of most who live there. Now these parks as represented in the work "Waterworks Park" became a Urban place Social and Natural where people meet to return people able to listen and touch what little nature left after the havoc of the past. All this shows how the "Return into Beehive" activity meets with the inevitable discomfort generated the passage from nature to buildings that lap, that strident, more than ever, I threadbare and transforms me into monstrosities needed to insert and integrate myself in my hive where also I become a part of the landscape of those buildings over there.

My work is based on the search for truth removing all that the the modern society put on our eyes to hide the real life. This is only possible creating a breaking between the past and the future excluding themself to operate on the present. This create inevitably a series of snails and a metawriting that help to see the real, sensations and emotions giving to the person that see the picture a privileged point of view to see at the end the real truth.
