"Whispered Petals" Painting

My work exists at the intersection of portraiture, symbolism, and surrealism — a world where the human figure dissolves into nature, and where flowers become the language of memory, identity, and time. Through female figures veiled with blooms and draped in fabric, I explore the fragility of existence and the silent dialogue between the human body and the natural world. Each petal, each fold of silk, carries a meaning — borrowed from classical painting, from religious iconography, from the baroque and the romantic traditions that have always fascinated me. I trained in painting, photography, and mixed media, and this plurality of disciplines shapes the way I build an image — layer by layer, symbol by symbol, until the work holds something that cannot quite be said in words. Flowers, in my practice, are never purely decorative. They are portraits in their own right — fragile, ephemeral, charged with the weight of what they conceal and what they reveal. They speak of cycles: of bloom and decay, of presence and absence, of all that we carry and all that we leave behind. My work has been exhibited in France and internationally, and I continue to develop a visual language that is at once deeply personal and universally human — an invitation to slow down, to look closely, and to feel the quiet poetry that runs beneath the surface of things.
