Carlos Romano (7 February 1985) is an Artist who has been developing Artworks in various artistic currents, such as Painting, Sculpture, Music, Dance, Philosophy, Poetry and Writing. In dance, he develops an Afro-contemporary style, which he draws from the musicality and folklore of East Africa,Mali and Angola, which he merges with modern and urban dance from North America. In Painting and Sculpture, he registers a very figurative and singular style, in which he intrinsically seeks to portray feelings and emotions from the human sub conscience. In Music, the Artist developed a style where he crosses classical music from Europe, using instruments practiced in classical music such as the violin and the choir, with ethnic music and African folklore, where he uses essentially African percussion instruments. He is creating a mythological universe with name “Afrophilia”, with paintings, sculptures, dance, music and piece of Theatre.
