ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was inspired by a John Pike painting with a fox running through a snow forest scene and wanted to make my own interpretation of this scene. His was inspired by walking in the woods when a fox ran by mine was completely made up. I added the sunrise to reflect beginning or new life with the young fox just strolling through the scene.

That painting is the reason I picked up a paint brush. Though I am still learning everyday, I have studied the works of the great egg tempera artists.
