As a walker and traveller, I question our relationship to space and its modes of representation; inventing maps, installations and soundscapes always nourished by drawings on motifs, I now engage in pictorial work. After living in Paris, Mexico City, Marseille, Brussels and Copenhagen, cities that are the basis of my reflections on urbanism and architecture, I settled in the French Alps (mountain region) ; my research has since focused on snow light, the melting of snow, the disappearance of glaciers and the collapse of the mountain. My work is based on a practice of walking and drawing on the motif. Searching for what escapes the visible, I have been drawing showing the off-screen of the highway that divides the north of Marseille in two parts, the lunar light preserved from light pollution, very rare in the 21st century and since winter 2017-2018, the facing light or the glare, which is an attempt to make visible what we cannot see. And since 2020, I have been drawing the phenomenon of snowmelting, the disappearance of glaciers and the collapse of the mountain, also the twilights and the luminosity of the snow.
