For me, the act of painting is a one-time event triggered by a desire to explore movement, changes and sounds of what seems like the reality of the canvas Challenges me to create tension between figuration and abstraction Between transparency and opacity. In the work process, the relationships between the elements change, take shape and wear onother, everyday objects and simple ideas, converge into a space where they fall apart and merge again in search of their fictitious identity The two-dimensional medium allows me a space in which I can create a new reality that functions as an imagined and fictional world. The main themes that I deal with in my work are illustrated by the use of images of animals such as: a wolf, a pig or cow monkey, a cat dog, a bird, or of landscapes from my memory and imagination The ideas in my works are based on the assumption that animals have recognition processes. For example: "the expectation of a cat to the landlady by the door is not only mechanistic, expectation is deliberate behavior that requires a mentalistic process." The intention is that these naturalistic images contain associations confronting with concepts such as survival, ecology, Or imbalance and behavioral evolution of existing strains with different intelligence levels. It can be seen that animals appeared in art works throughout history, during the Renaissance, for example, the animals received spiritual or religious significance and symbolized hope in times of crisis or war, in most cases appeared as secondary figures in the art work. In my work process and in contrast to the above approach, I take the opposite step, whose role is to empower or to impose new meanings on the object, the image positioned at the center of the work functions as the primary player. These forms of physical existence undergo a kind of evolutionary metamorphosis, their eyes turned forward, they look straight ahead into the empty space of the studio, a "look" that creates an interesting tensionwith the viewer. I invite the viewer to discourse the nature of the act of painting itself, as an optic experience of colors and shapes, that offers the possibility for a new observation and for a new and unique language and for a call to another place.
