About The Artwork
When living in Idaho, I fished many of the rivers and drainages of Yellowstone National Park. The wild cutthroat was the first species of trout that I had ever caught. And even though it was catch & release I carried with me the beautiful colors and amazing habitat of the region. I became my spiritual center at that time. I choose birch as my canvas because of the warmth of the rich tones...a calm, if you will.
