Young Pioneer Girl (Soviet Scout) Painting

By this painting I've just started a serie of original oil paintings devoted to the so called October Socialist Revolution in Russia, which took place in 1917. So we had a century anniversary here :)) It's kinda a surrealistic view on those Soviet types and characters that are still so familiar here in Russia and around the globe, I guess :) Here we have a young Soviet Pioneer girl all dressed up in a traditional Soviet Uniform :)) It's an oil on canvas. The canvas is stretched, please, have a look on a pic of a backside (attached). the size is 40x30cm (approx 16''x12''), the sides of the painting are painted too, no frame needed. I painted this girl with the idea to make as fewer brush strokes as possible. I think it's kinda suitable here. To make it look more charismatic to my taste, at least :) I'm thinking about painting Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, and other Soviet communist guys in that style, so, stay tuned, please, they will appear here in a matter of a month or two, I guess :)) Thanks for coming, glad to see you here!
