Raffaella Brusaglino, born in 1975, lives and works in Turin, Italy, as a freelance artist. She is is best known for her paintings where the characters, at the center of the scene, are blended with geometric backgrounds. Sharp and tapered profiles of faces and hands stand out on golden surfaces recalling the Byzantine preciousness. The subjects call to mind an imaginary Middle Age or the 15th century Florentine painting.
