I received an invitation to partake in a Day of the Dead exhibition, and I am pleased to present the outcome of my participation. While the postmortem experience remains an enigma, current research suggests that consciousness persists despite the cessation of brain activity. In light of this, my presentation features the quintessential portrayal of death in Mexican culture, followed by an abstract interpretation of the elusive concept of the afterlife

Embarking on my artistic journey at the tender age of 8, I discovered the world of colors and expressions through my very first painting. Even in my early years, sketching became a joyful way to capture the essence of those around me, as I found inspiration in the faces of my classmates during school. At 18, I took my passion to new heights, delving into formal painting studies that laid the foundation for my artistic endeavors. The pursuit of knowledge led me to San Miguel de Allende, where, at the age of 20, I immersed myself in the rich cultural and artistic tapestry while earning a degree in visual arts. Since then, art and painting have become the heartbeat of my existence. Every stroke of the brush and every color palette chosen tell the story of my life's journey. My artistic evolution is not just a chronological progression; it's a reflection of my soul's exploration, a visual diary that captures the essence of my experiences and emotions. For me, art is not just a vocation; it is a way of life. It's an ever-evolving dialogue with the canvas, a means to translate the intricacies of the human experience into visual poetry. From the innocence of childhood sketches to the formal education in San Miguel de Allende, my artistic odyssey has been shaped by a profound love for the craft and an unwavering commitment to the transformative power of visual expression.
