ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Eye of a fly is a dreamlike, fairytale artwork. It's painted with gouache on paper. And later it is glued on a MDF board. I’m inspired by nature, raindrops on the canal, tiny dewdrops ealy morning on the plants, a slight haze over the fields. I work on paper with different materials, acrylic, gesso, gouache, ink, colorpencils, crayons. This is a unique piece of art. No prints are made. My signature is on the lower right corner and this artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. © Marina Dewit 2014

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

When I am painting I don't doubt. To accomplish that it is necessary to be tuned in and to keep my mind clear. I work from intuition. A dialogue between my work and the painter inside me appears on the paper. My work can have strong graphic elements but it can also be very fluent. I work in Holland in "the werkplaats, a space for learning" by Erik Lemmens. My favorite painters a Kandinsky, Constant, Peter Doig and Gijs Frieling.
