Bouquet of gladioli. I wanted to approach the composition of these flowers in a non-standard way. From colored pink spots: from pale pink delicate shades to bright, luminous strokes and dark velvet burgundy shades, she collected the image of a flower. When working with watercolors, where necessary, I control the paint, somewhere on the contrary, I let the watercolors spread over the wet sheet. In this way, I keep the lightness and freshness of the watercolor painting and flowers. I was not interested in the meaning of a flower before ... It turns out that "gladioli" it translates as a flower-sword. One of the reasons for giving: the beginning of a new one live. In Europe, gladioli are given as support before changes in the recipient's life and when he makes a fateful decision. And purple flowers are given as a sign of friendly support, so that a person believes in the best and does not give up. The work is done on watercolor cellulose paper with water-based paints. The figure is surrounded by 0,19 in white margins. What is suitable for decorating a picture in a frame, without the likelihood that part of the picture will be hidden under the frame.
