About The Artwork

Hatshepsut was the fifth Pharaoh of the 18th-dynasty who was one of the handful of female rulers in Ancient Egypt and her reign was the longest of all the female pharaohs. Her funerary temple (pictured in the background) was inspiration for Frank Lloyd Wright and his "Art Deco" architecture, which still stands as a tribute to her incredible rise to power. Hatshepsut was married to her half-brother, Tuthmosis II, with whom she usurped and then took over his position as ruler, go so far as to dress like a king and wear a false beard. To support her cause she claimed the God Amon-Ra spoke, saying "Welcome my sweet daughter, my favorite, the king of Upper and Lower Egypt, Maatkare, Hatshepsut. Thou art the King, taking possession of the Two Lands." Learn more about Multidimensional Fine Art at www.jljeffers.com.

"Multiversal Fine Art" is a 21st Century genre currently in its nascent stage, but on the verge of rapid global expansion. In March 2004, I felt compelled to transition from the business world into the art world, ergo, I purchased $5000 worth of art supplies "on a whim" and decided that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. It was a conscious intent to create something tangible, real, and formidable that became stronger and stronger, and as the months of that year passed, it had become quite clear to me that something was trying to form.  The brilliant scientist and inventor of wireless electrical current, Nicola Tesla, said that everything in the universe is divided into frequency and vibration. After painting full-time since 2004, the work now seems to emanate an other-worldly energy, frequency, and vibration that somehow initiates a metamorphic effect on the viewer, resulting in an evolutionary impulse so vitally needed for the transformation and healing of humanity.   I am simply a medium, a channel, if you will, for the art that comes through me from higher planes of consciousness. As we become still and gently allow, we find the imagery forming into geometric shapes, sometimes becoming portraits, and other times, remaining hidden behind a veil of abstractions. Some of our collectors have conveyed the artwork radiates a zen-like calming effect on the nerves, allowing them a glimmer of peaceful bliss and tranquility. As an "Urban Shaman," I have learned over the years to take my mind out of the equation when I paint. This allows for trance-like visions to emerge on the surface into multiple layers and facets (reflecting the multiple dimensions) onto abstract imagery, inculcating a synthesis of sacred geometry, metaphysics, quantum physics, mystical symbolism, and Jungian archetypes.   For me, each piece in the collection manifests a transformational, healing, rejuvenating effect on my emotional body, affording me an inner awareness of untapped creative abilities. Subsequently, as the Multidimensional Expressionism has evolved over the past decade, I have evolved right along with it.
