Andreas Anastasis (British, b. 1975) is a multi-faceted artist, best known for his award-winning film work a celebrity hairstylist and now fine Art, based in New York City. Born in Central London to a Greek-Cypriot family, Anastasis grew up with a heightened interest in the arts. After completing his studies at London College of Fashion, Anastasis relocated to New York City where his career took off In film and fashion, and later led him to the opening of a successful hair salon in 2014. Anastasis had his debut exhibition showcasing his introduction to fine Art. back in December 2019. “With most artists, dark times are moments of reflection, and creativity is a way of getting myself through it. Being isolated and cut off opened a whole new level of raw consciousness, having endless days and weeks to just create and work with different materials and textures, In all this I realized who I am..... my dream is to create an artistic movement, that future artists will reference to, as do I with so many of my favorite artists” Anastasis lives and works in New York City and his work delves into sculpture, photography video installations and fine art.
