iceland Painting

I am a painter and designer, based in London, Graduated with distinction from School of arts Met de Penninghen in Paris. I produce abstract, expressionist paintings as well as geometric abstract and landscape paintings. My work, which speaks of human feeling and spiritual exploration, has developed through and is based on the practice of meditation. I paint the world of soul and spirituality, the dream of the planet. I capture the present moment of feeling focusing on the pattern or vibration of colour, Itis an intuitive communication without words about my self-awareness, when the body and the mind are unified and whole. I choose oil painting because it is like an anchor for the body and the mind, Oil painting is about sensations : smell, texture, and the way the light works. You can wash, dilute, brush or scratch the painting; it responds to you body language. You end up dirty, covered with paint in a kind of battle with texture, with color, with yourself. Trough my painting I try to reach the other and make a connection. I have researched ways to cultivate creative behavior and in my art workshops I teach a method to discover creative potential; a way to go on an adventure with yourself and become more fully human.
