ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting I was created after the performance that I was building a wall of official newspapers.The performance "Square of official newspapers" is the process of setting up a fence / wall of official newspapers in a square shape with dimensions of 130 cm. x 130 cm. and a height of 75 cm. identical to the height of the standard office desk, in which at the end of the process I remain trapped inside the square. The idea of this performance is a reaction to the frequent adoption of new regulations and their frequent changes that limit the individual in his freedom and burden him with the daily monitoring of them (laws, decisions...) published in the official newspaper. The painting was chosen in the final selection of Canova prize and exhibited in New York in 2018
