The bark and the wood slice on the back are treated with acrylic lacquer.

Please note that the drawing is made on wood slice with uneven surface, knots and partially peeled bark. This is the concept of my work: I use waste to burn for my work, because I saw a greater potential for it to become an object of art and also it inspire me more.

Please note that the colors may look different depending on your screen lights.

I'll be glad to answer any questions you might have. I can send detailed photos of work to avoid misunderstandings.

I’m self-taught amateur and a lawyer by education. I have been working for almost 15 years as a lawyer but since January 2019 I have quit my job. Since than I continue self-perfection as an artist. I’m improving my skills solely through my practice and do my best to keep self-identity in creativity. What inspires me? - Wood. I'm finding strange and unusual shapes of wooden slides and my ideas just come from the shapes. I love irregular shapes and imperfection. I'm trying to use all features of wood (cracks, knots even partially broken bark) to make the work more unique.
