ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The bark and the wood slice on the back are treated with acrylic lacquer. Please note that the drawing is made on wood slice with uneven surface, knots and partially peeled bark. This is the concept of my work: I use waste to burn for my work, because I saw a greater potential for it to become an object of art and also it inspire me more. I'm finding strange and unusual shapes of wooden slides and my ideas just come from the shapes. I love irregular shapes and imperfection. I'm trying to use all features of wood (cracks, knots even partially broken bark) to make the work more unique.
