Dario Dagostino lives and works in Milan, where he has his atelier. Self-taught artist, he has specialized since his beginnings in Resin art. His art focuses on the expressiveness of colours, their transformation from solid to liquid form and their evocative capacity. Dario's research in the use of resin also leads to the ability of his works, once solidified, to assume mirroring capabilities. The main feature of the resin works is the ability to reflect the colours through a mirrored effect, offering the observer a more intimate and self-reflective visual experience as if he were in front of a mirror looking straight into himself. Many of his works are not accompanied by any descriptive text to not condition the public's perception. Overall, his works refer to the renowned therapeutic capacity of art and the importance of colour in painting. Although the aesthetic that the artist proposes through his language is direct. In his works coexist two natures: one "intuition and method" the other "subjectivity and objectivity", leading to a balance between form, light and colour, thriving in harmony. We can feel in these works the dualism between play and intimacy where the artist, in an inner journey, made a self-discovery made of colourful and vibrant surfaces full of light.
