This is an original painting of a laughing girl, it took me a lot of work to make it simple, to paint only what matters to the subject, there are many layers in this painting, thinner and thicker, painting and erasing. For me this painting is a beggining of a new artistic path, not detached from my previous work but still different. it will be sent rolled in a tube but if you want I can stretch it on a wooden frame.

Shaul Baz was born and grew up in kibutz mishmar-ha'emek in the jezreel valley in the northern part of Israel. Over the years,he studied various disciplines of art- in the years 1982-83 in 'Avni' art school, Tel-aviv, in the years 1988-90 with the artist Jan Rauchverger in his home and in the years 2000-02 with the artist Leonid Balaklav.. He lives with family in Jerusalem and works in a bronze foundry.
