Living in this hectic world, I am constantly wandering to look for a place where I can feel relaxed. Everyone in this modern city seems to need a place to relax themselves. I would find that kind of place in the nature. Then I bring the mysterious and warm energy into my own real life or go into the warm arms of nature so that I can create a third place of rest where I feel at one with nature and have inner peace. Rest is an essential element for us, and I find the energy source of rest in nature. The color, air, forest, and moon of nature that change every moment emit mysterious energy, allowing us to feel stable in our minds. The flow of air and color felt in the forest becomes the texture of my painting. The overlap of different colors, which consists of the colors I feel in each time and space. I'm in this space! I chose a chair as a medium that can represent 'me' in my busy daily life and 'me' who wants to rest. To me, chairs are the common denominator of workplace and shelter. It is a symbol that can express two spaces and an object that blends in any space. A chair, that is, takes me to the space of nature and unifies nature and me to create a "space of rest." The fresh air and mystery obtained from nature are the driving force for me to make a new start. But my nature is not grand. Things that are always around me but I haven't seen them, street trees, mountains, forests, sky, sea, moon, etc. It's always around me, so I easily pass by, but in fact, it's always close to me, and when I open the door of my heart, the joy of the moment I suddenly see becomes my subject. The self recharged in nature in everyday life becomes a new beginning to live in the present again. In other words, rest becomes a new beginning, not a stop.
