The series "Eternal Darkness" contains paintings, wall-based sculptures and sculptures in the color spectrum black, sepia and umber, with traces of indigo, violet, purple violet and magenta. The underlying microcrystaline diaphanous texture gives this series an fundamental timeless and spaceless existence. .. The paintings "Eternal Darkness - No. 07 & No. 08" come unstreched and unframed, rolled in a tube. The original size of each canvas is 240x164cm (94,5x64,5in). Considering 3cm (1.2in) on each side for the side edges of the stretcher frame, the dimensions of each stretched canvas would be in the range of 228x152cm (90x60in). .. The canvas are thinly coated with layers of microcrystalline wax, mixed oil and india ink. Multiple processing with gentle scratching and flaming gives this artwork an extraordinary surface. An UV resistant matt varnish has been applied to enhance and protect the high quality of this works. .. Delicately signed by the artist with his initials cR in a corner (allows hanging any way you want). Shipped rolled and securely packaged in an extremely durable double-walled PVC tube. ..
