This painting is part of the series "Le Sud" A series about the southern incandescent light. Eyes wrinkled, burnt with too many splinters, salt, and warm wind. Bright light, hard shadows. Skies without clouds, waters with fiery reflections... This series of paintings try to reconstitute memories faded like old photos. Only the essential remains (the contrast and the still intense sensations.)
