Un Poème des Femmes Rouges was inspired by a photograph of Hindu women, in a wedding procession by Antonino Puppi. The painting was composed like a poem, beginning with the vaguest sense of direction but very strong intention about the dynamic of colour and shape. I wanted the faces to reflect the beauty, concerns, and internal nature of women. The heads are covered out of a celebration of female anatomy rather than any religious connotation. Each face is a particular stanza, and the partial faces are a statement that the painting can't be a definitive summation but only a visual metaphor of thesis and suggestion. this work was exhibited at the 9e Édition 7 au 29 juillet 2016, Des Vacances en Art, Aux bibliothèques de Pincourt, île-Perrot et Notre-Dame-de-L'le-Perrot
