#157, untitled, 2014 is a piece from the OSTER+KOEZLE's second series 'perspectives', which they developed from 2014 on - and is followed up to date. This series is one of the most playful ones - but at the same time one of the most minimalist. The simpler the artistic intervention is, the more astonishing is its effect on the perception of possible perspectives. By adding one solid colored area, perspective 'twists' are created in an Escherian sense. Although the insertion of the black area is the only modification in the photograph, this image of two passageways 'turns' into a conundrum - you just have to look at it long enough... #157 is supplied as a pigment print on matte museum cardboard of 300 gsm, printed by the artists. Framing behind glass is highly recommended because of the cardboard's delicate surface. The shown framing is just a suggestion and NOT included in this offer.
