This technique is unique in the world, as no one else has ever made imagery in this way which incorporates high-voltage electrical discharges, and hand-delivered fiber-optic light. The subject, which is consumed by the imaging process, serves both as a source and as a filter for the resulting image. This camera- lens- and computer-free expression is a reminder that creativity lives on in the wake of the digital push-button revolution, and celebrates the artist's Biophilia, or love of life and living systems.
