Anxiety - Limited Edition of 10 Photograph

Anxiety is a photographic serie inspired by what I feel when an episode of anxiety is coming to me, how it comes, when it reaches me, the time it lasts and when it goes away. That whole process can last a few seconds or sometimes several minutes, but anxiety is always present in my day life. I urgently needed to represent in some way what has been happening to me since I was fourteen years old. I think it's really important to express through art, mental health issues, in the world it is estimated that 3.6% of the population suffers from some type of anxiety related disorder. This project is entirely based on my personal experiences with panic attacks, anxiety and insomnia. I also believe it is important to bring the issue of infertility to light, an issue that touches me closely and that I have been living and transiting for more than seven years. The diseases that are not visible to the naked eye are the hidden and silenced ones and my project seeks to show in an artistic and dramatic way this kind of taboo diseases. So I hope the viewers can feel something when they see my art work, just feel related or simply understand a little bit more of this issue. I choose Fine art self portrait because I think I was the perfect model to represent what I actually feel when an anxiety attack it's coming to me.
