About The Artwork
Inspired by artist like David Hockney and Massimiliano Farina, I photographed the Arco Della Pace in Milan for few hours with a special digital camera in "Polaroid like" format, never changing lens, during the night hours. Then I printed hundreds of shots and I recomposed the square, gluing together 24 photographs. My concern was not to recreate the perfect shape but I tried to match time with my memories of the place. Looking this mosaic from distance is like being in that place, with the eyes capturing frames of the entire scene. Original artwork limited edition one of one. Framed and ready to hang on wall.
