Spending her life devoted to art, Claudia Okonek has created a meaningful body of work that explores the human psyche and the way we interact with the world around us. Utilizing a wide array of mediums including photography, installations, sculpture, public art, and landscape design, she has been steadfast in the pursuit of her vision, never yielding to convention and always manifesting new methods of exploration. The artist chooses her media with great care in order to find the best way to achieve her goal. Her true interest is the human psyche and interaction with the world around them. She uses elements of space, colour and light, to help the viewer discover truths inside himself or to consider his place in society and his relationship to the global context. These projects often come with the most unexpected of outcomes. Claudia is intent on creating works that have a tangible influence on the way we live, both at a personal and societal level. Claudia’s work has been featured by noted companies, publishing houses, agencies, and architects, including Kume Sekkei Co., Ltd., Nissay (JP), and Staatliche Museen zu Berlin.
